Ordered these for an EMR class I was teaching. Not bad, you get what you pay for. About half a dollar. The cover is a training nylon material. The shield itself works like a surgical mask with a one-way valve disc. The downside is that it tries to tell you which side is facing the patient, but since the mask is transparent it's hard to tell when the situation is 'going', it can take a second to make sure it is correct. Also, the valve is flat and not a real mouthpiece. So if it is actually over the patient's mouth, it will take a few minutes longer.
