Sturdy machine. However, it took me a while to figure out how to turn it on. The instructions state that the device must be in the locked position. It appears to be stuck but it won't turn on. After playing with it for about an hour I found that it had a double fuse. I would like the instructions that came with the device to say so. Please update these instructions to be crystal clear or people will send them back thinking they don't work! I see that this warning is on the Revain website, but I didn't think to check there after it was sent to me. I hope this tip saves someone some time. As soon as I got to work I chopped/chopped about 6 carrots and was even able to strain the carrot pulp to get carrot juice. The pulp was used to make vegan sushi, and carrot juice (with lemon added) was a great drink to drink. In general a good machine, there was no need to chop the carrots.
