Everything was fine while he was working

At first I really liked this case. It was a nice blue color and the texture of the case, almost sticky, actually made it easier to grip. When I bought the case, I was looking for something that would protect my Macbook from scratches, dust, dirt, etc. And for a while it did. But after three months of careful use, the bottom latches broke and the bottom part of the case began to slide off constantly. Not only was it driving me insane, but it also scratched the bottom of my laptop. Luckily it was the bottom so I didn't have to see the scratch every time I looked at my laptop, but it was still very disappointing and frustrating. Not to mention how irritated I was that the case I paid $40 for broke within three months of careful use. And when I say gentle, I mean gentle. I treated my new MacBook like my baby... The Macbook + Speck sleeve went from my desk to a nice and practical laptop item (because I never bought this sleeve with the intention of using it as protection against accidental drops or travel ), all this at that time went into my backpack. Admittedly, it was a little nerve-wracking, but like I said, my MacBook was like a baby to me. After receiving the laptop from my family as a gift for my 7 year old computer as a graduation/going to college/replacement for my 7 year old computer, I wanted to do whatever I could to protect it. Now I only use a laptop bag and try to be careful where I put my laptop. I also have this amazing laptop stand for my desk called mstand by rain design mStand Laptop Stand which has these little rubber grips to hold my Mac on the stand so it doesn't move or get scratched. -all I don't think this case is worth the money or your time. It didn't do the job, overheated my computer and broke after three months of use.

Pros
  • Rubberized feet and vents keep your MacBook from overheating.
Cons
  • communication with the seller
