Review on Ableconn PEXSA115A 2 Port Express Adapter by Mayrando Clark

PEX-SA134 with drive attached works on ASUS P8C-WS motherboard when it is accessed from a single drive on an Intel MB- Controller is started in AHCI mode. The P8C hung on boot when I tried to boot from a RAID1 array with an Intel MB controller in RAID mode. Ableconn responded quickly to my request and we exchanged several emails. Ableconn and I received the latest P8C manual from ASUS, and it doesn't contain any information about the CSM (Compatibility Support Module) settings in the latest BIOS. After much trial and error setting up the BIOS and choosing a slot, I contacted ASUS. After a phone call, chat and email with four different people, ASUS was unable to fix the P8C manual's shortcomings and the only suggestions they had were for things I had already tried. At that point I gave up and Revain was processing my return. For the last 20 years I have used ASUS TX-97, P3BF, A8N, P7F (still working) and P8C (still working) motherboards and graphics cards. I would be willing to buy another Ableconn product, but I will not buy another ASUS product. The saving grace from this experience was Ableconn's efforts and Revain's efficient return process.
