I have an old bathtub that is not shaped like most new bathtubs. Instead of leaning back where you would sit and lean on your back, it goes straight up. It's not comfortable at all, and for me it's a big bummer because I've always loved reading in the bath. This has prevented me from enjoying the past the way I like it. This pillow changed the rules of the game. This doesn't completely solve the problem, but it makes bathing more enjoyable and manageable. The firm and thick padding helps me raise my back, neck and head off the wall and also helps me tilt my head further than if I didn't have one. At least I can use my bathroom now. What struck me the most was the strength of the suction cups on the back of this pillow. As you can see from the attached photos, the suction cups are quite large in diameter. After you wet them and stick them to the tub, they won't slide around or float. In fact, they're so strong they even gave you a little black plastic scraper so you can take them out of the tub too when you're done using them. So far I haven't had to use this tool, but it will come in handy when the need arises. Oh another thing I love about this pillow is that it has a hook so you can hang it up when not in use! None of the other bath pillows I've used in the past have had this. That makes it convenient. I just hang it in the back of my shower and don't have to use my closet space for storage.
