Woman wanted to replace our classic chiseled and polished brass knobs with black ones. I only agreed because they cost about $1 each if we bought 55 or 60 at a time. I expected them to be significantly cheaper. While they are *significantly* cheaper, once installed they don't look or feel cheap. They're molded, but the part you're taking doesn't have a parting line that you could find - it looks like a well-made, full, rounded handle. You can see it is molded on the back before it is installed. The threads were mostly good - some weren't perfect, but they were good enough that I didn't have to chase after anyone. Of the 55 there was a handle with a kind of ridge on the outside edge that you could obviously feel, so we didn't use it. There was another one that had a ridge that you could only feel if you tried, so we used it in a high, rarely used spot where the blemish isn't visible and really hard to feel. The rest was perfect as far as I could tell and it would be easy to sand down the burrs of two but you would remove the black finish. The long segmented screws are ideal for thick drawer fronts. In general I am very satisfied with the purchase. Unmatched value; the wife is happy and I have not spent a small fortune. Would order again without hesitation. Just order some spares in case you find the same 5% minor bug issues I did.
