Review on ๐ŸŽ’ Black Baggallini Fashion Backpack Phone Wristlet: Women's Handbags & Wallets by Gary Reed

Sophisticated Baggalini design - of course!

I was looking for a good, safe, waterproof backpack with a water bottle pocket for my upcoming trip to Italy and this bag ticked all the boxes. Plus, it's cute enough to serve as a wallet, so mission accomplished. Pros: 1) External water bottle pockets; I was surprised how hard it was to find a nice backpack/wallet with water bottle pockets. Most of them either looked like hardcore backpacks or too much like wallets with no pockets. This is a good hybrid. In addition, it has many interior pockets (including a zip pocket) and an interior RFID pocket. 2) Big enough for a lot of stuff, but not so big that it's unwieldy on a small frame. (I'm 4'10"") 3) Well camouflaged large external pocket that doesn't need to be opened (good for quickly stashing a jacket etc.) 4) Small zipped pockets on both sides for small items such as phone, headphones, etc. (I don't plan on putting anything of value in them while I'm in Italy, but other than that it's handy.) CONS: 1) Big round button at top I've been repeatedly warned about some towns where... thieves are the Grab bags of tourists off their scooters and run away quickly. I think this large ring would be a handy grip to grab and rest on my neck making the large ring uncomfortable to put on the other side of the bag It just seems a little harder to grab than when it does would stick straight up. I think a standard cloth handle or smaller ring would be much better and safer not to mention the aesthetic. Also, with some cheap plastic (faux leather over metal ring) and a large seam, this ring feels uncomfortable in the hand. Why not just use a sturdy cloth handle? Cheaper, lighter and safer! 2) No color variety. It would be fun to have a cheerful red color, but I opted for practical black. I'm happy with that before the trip. Let's see if it lives up to my expectations in a few months!

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
