These LED bulbs replace incandescent, MR16 bulbs in ceiling cans that provide general illumination to our kitchen. We have wood cabinets and floor so the color temperature is 2900, a warm color like incandescents. I was surprised at how well they worked with 3000 degree (whiter) task lights along the perimeter. These LEDs brought out the wood color and grain in our cabinets as intended. I was also surprised by the brightness of the bulbs. LEDs tend to burn bright for the first 50-100 hours then settle into their rated output. At some point LEDs begin to dim from their rating but hey, I only have 6 cans and 12 bulbs so I'm good!
