I like the general idea of the spoon and fork. I used the spoon primarily for my daughter (now 19 months old) to practice eating yogurt and oatmeal. I found that she can take some yogurt for her but in general it's too flexible. I usually just give her a small metal spoon to eat instead. I am also concerned about the use of silicone for baby feeding. I use a silicone bib on her and have noticed that it has started soaking up the diluted dish soap when I wash it. So if the food was in a bib, it would taste like dish soap too. My only concern is that the silicone spoon and fork may also absorb the properties of the dish soap over time.
