Great first spoons

Bought these first spoons for my little one. It worked great and he even started reaching for the handle to eat, given that half the time he spills food and just wants to chew. I agree with other reviewers on Spork. You can't use it like a fork, but it still works like a spoon.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Great learning material

This is the best fork and spoon. We have this set in 2 different colors. The size makes them very light for my 1 year old daughter and it really helped her learn how to use the utensils. She loves to chew on it and I don't have to worry about her chewing on anything hurting her mouth.

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • Functionality

Great to add to a baby gift set

This is a gift so I don't know how they clean or how they work on teething but I think new parents will like them . They are cute, soft and appear to be of good quality. Looks like they are easy to clean. And the baby is easy to hold. I would buy them again.

Pros
  • High score for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Weight

With these spoons the child will not get so confused

They are much easier to use than ordinary spoons. My daughter keeps the food in her mouth instead of blaming it on non-silicones. She loves to chew them as they are teething and easy to hold. The only thing I would like to see is a lighter color and no stains.

Pros
  • There is something inside
Cons
  • sad packaging

Didn't suit us

I think my son was a picky eater when I introduced them. He never liked them and found it difficult to use the loop handle and actually scoop food onto the utensil itself which was frustrating as I bought them thinking the loop would help him. They are of good quality and wash well. I usually just give it to him with a light meal like yogurt.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Easy to use for baby and parents

It is easy for me to feed my baby, and she can also hold the spoon when she wants to take the spoon from me. We don't actually use a spatula and I don't see much use in it as it performs almost the same functions as a spoon. She also likes to chew on the spoon when she's teething so that's good for that too and since it's all rubber I don't have to worry about putting sharp or hard bits in her mouth.

Pros
  • Many fit
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Easy to use for baby and parents

Baby eats very well from the spoon

Our child seems to eat better with the spoon in this set than with our bamboo silicone spoon set. I think this spoon is narrower and a bit deeper so it seems to be getting more food and picking up food better. This may be unique to her as we were told that she has a "smaller" mouth. She is also better at storing it for practice and loves to chew on it. Too bad they didn't make a set with two spoons. She doesn't seem to take Spork lightly. I think the small fork tines have an odd texture. Still…

Pros
  • Tableware
Cons
  • No power

Okay, hard to eat with

I like the general idea of the spoon and fork. I used the spoon primarily for my daughter (now 19 months old) to practice eating yogurt and oatmeal. I found that she can take some yogurt for her but in general it's too flexible. I usually just give her a small metal spoon to eat instead. I am also concerned about the use of silicone for baby feeding. I use a silicone bib on her and have noticed that it has started soaking up the diluted dish soap when I wash it. So if the food was in a bib, it…

Pros
  • solid feeding
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
