I like the look of the foil

I like the look of the foil. It gave me the look I was looking for in my taillights. I have a 2015 VW GTI and since the taillights are in two pieces I wrapped them like this. The result is a smooth, dark and even surface. In this respect I am very satisfied. During the installation I noticed a few things. First, you are best off when you have helping hands. I asked my friend to help me and I think it would have taken much longer on my own. Second, there's definitely such a thing as "too much heat" during installation when it comes to heat guns; Even if you let the material cool to ambient temperature, it will take on a noticeable difference in texture/stretch properties. Third, Vvivid should provide more detailed installation instructions and tutorials on YouTube. I say this because wrapping the flat parts of one of your projects is so easy even a toddler can do it. This cannot be said if you have a mix of flat, curved, rounded, tapered, etc. In my case it was the top of my taillights. The lower part passed quickly and quietly. The top has a (nearly) 90-degree curve, and the shape itself matches the curvature of the body. As a result, the material sticks together so strongly that neither heat nor pressure can loosen it. The only thing that worked was lots of stretching on a low heat to avoid tearing the material. The downside to this is that the movie's "memory" causes it to back off when it calms down. This reintroduces the previously mentioned gluing, except now you're trimming the material so it's not easy to stretch at this point. I feel like I'm going to have a constant pain point. Conclusion: The product itself is great. It is high-quality, noticeably durable and very gentle during assembly. Vvivid just needs to provide clear directions for tricky turns and curves and how to avoid the "I can't see a way out of this small group" moment you're likely to encounter.
