Description of πŸš— Transform Your Vehicle's Look with VViViD Dark Black Headlight Taillight Tint Vinyl Wrap - 12"x24" 2-Roll Pack

VViViD Air-Tints are specially designed to easily install on difficult or intricate shapes. These tints are an industry first - they include an air-release membrane which allows you to install the tint dry (without installation liquid): ready to use out of the box!. This is the only film on the market that can wrap ANY SHAPE. It is super conformable with heat. It was originally manufactured for hard to wrap surfaces but the ease of install has professionals saving time on any headlight shape. These tints are 80% tinted smoke or 20% VLT. It is made with automotive grade cast vinyl. Adhesive is acrylic based which will not eat through plastic like other tints on the market. It is 100% chemical safe, it will not eat through headlight coatings or damage your lights.

High Heat and Stretch Hard

Without user error I would have given the product 2 stars. There are many videos on how to use it, but most of them are not detailed enough to successfully apply it on difficult surfaces except by trial and error. My advice: use more heat - I have a BluePoint heat gun and had to set it on 8 to get the vinyl consistency needed to stretch properly. Stretching: I have a 2019 WRX, and from a flat taillight spot to crazy corners, I had to heat the vinyl and stretch it badly to conform to the awkward

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Damaged

Easy to use. I was very skeptical of wrapping my headlight as it had such a hard edge that turned into big complex curves. It really worked. Due to the built-in ventilation openings, it is not quite glassy and transparent like conventional films, but it is a thousand times easier to work with. I was able to reposition and stretch the shade until it matched the shape of my taillights. Took me a couple of hours to do both sides (I did it in 4 sections as the headlights would separate when my…

Terrible. to install pain. Come out afterwards!

UPDATE: Still terrible. I tried Light Smoke - I had a friend who is a professional who works with cars and deals in vinyl. It was easier to apply, but it still started peeling off in places after a few days. We made sure to hide behind the taillight to avoid this. It shrinks and causes it. Flat surfaces are great - forget the taillights, especially on the WRX. The tint on my Subaru logo came out fine, that's all. Installing this product on my WRX was a nightmare. If your taillights aren't…

I like the look of the foil

I like the look of the foil. It gave me the look I was looking for in my taillights. I have a 2015 VW GTI and since the taillights are in two pieces I wrapped them like this. The result is a smooth, dark and even surface. In this respect I am very satisfied. During the installation I noticed a few things. First, you are best off when you have helping hands. I asked my friend to help me and I think it would have taken much longer on my own. Second, there's definitely such a thing as "too much…

Great quality not a great app

I bought this after using VHT Niteshades and hated the look it gave me (don't blame VHT it just didn't work for my app) I picked it up from a youtube recommendation which I also did some research on how to install the product and it seemed pretty easy and it was. However, this film is better suited for less complex surfaces, closer to flat surfaces. Regarding my rear lights, which are completely rounded in places, this foiling was almost impossible without cutting out the relief or. I've tried…
