I bought this extension cord after my outdated and very old extension cord stopped working after 20 years. What I like about this updated style of surge protector/stretcher is that it's black and looks sleek, it has 3 USB charging docks that almost everyone uses USB cables now (especially phones), and it has 10 ports and them are back so they don't block each other like in older versions, and the wire gauge is very thick meaning it can really draw a lot of current. Finally, the cord is a whopping 6 feet long. Before I bought this one from Amazon I bought another one elsewhere and forgot to check the length of the cord and it was 3ft which is not very long. I used this extension cable for my gaming station which I have all my old gaming systems plugged into at the same time so I don't have to keep unplugging - I recommend this extension cable to anyone trying the same thing.
