Decent camera for the price

I chose it because it has WIFI and solar charging. Day 3 after installation seems to be working fine. Night vision is good, the image is clear in both light and IR modes. Motion detection was skipped multiple times, and multiple times required multiple attempts to access it from a remote location. Otherwise it works fine. The application is fine. Simple but ok. Tilt and Pan Delay. But it works. There's no continuous panning, it's just small increments. Scanning a QR code on the camera is cumbersome as it is heavily obscured by the camera itself. But the phone reads at an angle, so there are no complaints. The total installation time is about 10 minutes. Here are some warnings: 1. When the solar panel is connected to the camera, it does not have enough mounting depth to fit under the standard bay. Therefore, an additional bracket must be used for solar panels.2. To use this bracket you need to remove the original plate bracket with the included wrench and then attach the long bracket. There are no instructions for this in the 0.5 font size instructions that came with the camera. But it is very simple.3. Please use the templates provided with the mounting holes.4. The biggest problem is that the 2 bottom mounting holes for the camera are covered by the camera itself. Hence the power tool; or even a long screwdriver simply does not reach the lower screws. You either have to screw them in at an angle or use very short, short Phillips crosses, which is awkward to do behind the camera.5. The screws are supplied in 2 sets of 4 pieces. One set's heads are wide enough for the camera, while the second set's heads are too small for the bracket's long mounting holes, so buy your own screws with wider heads. That's all. So far, so good. I'll consider getting a second one for the back of the house. The zoom is very good, I can reach the gate at a distance of 500 feet. WIFI range is ok, works via a large 3 car roof garage from a modem on the 2nd floor. Several days of active use. On days 1 and 2, the camera tilt and pillow responded with a slight lag, but you could see it moving in the app. .After that, press the directional button and need to log in again to see the change. Logging into the camera now takes 10-30 seconds, sometimes it crashes and you have to restart the app. I can't tell if it's a camera app. The app has a terrible rating from end users, 2.6. So if you plan to use a rotating camera to monitor different areas of your property in real time, you are most likely using a wired connection or another camera or application. This is clearly not a real-time device, or at least not with a proposed application for it. It would be nice to know if there is a better app that interacts with this camera. Definitely not buying a second one. Probably the only one I can manually point to and leave it there. Tilting and panning is pretty much a waste and a nuisance in this case.
