Review on πŸ’‘ Amico Ultra Thin Selectable Downlight: Customize your Desired Brightness by Jeremy Choi

These lights are amazing value.

I recently bought my first house and all the fixtures were quite outdated. (Lots of glass balls and gold colored metal) I used these to replace an entire small entryway, foyer, closet, etc. They look great and are incredibly valuable. (At least half the price if you look for similar lights at hardware stores) Good amount of light for small spaces. (or large rooms if multiple are being used together) Incredibly easy to install, flip the switch and then either cut out the holes if there is no fixing or remove the previous build box and widen the hole with the one provided template and the drywall cutter/crown. Add some 3/8" (1/2" KO) push-in connectors to prevent your cables from making contact with the bare metal of the included junction box. Wires into fantastic push connectors. (Wire nuts are not needed). Then simply insert the junction box into the ceiling, connect the lamp/screw with the lock nut and lock it with the retaining springs. (watch your fingers) Seriously, they look amazing and cost about $9 a unit or less. You can connect up to three junction boxes in series to each junction box, easily set the color temperature and they are dimmable! As long as I have a good life with them, I will be very happy with them.

Pros
  • High Brightness: 6 inch slim ceiling lights use the world's best LED chips with higher lumen output and less power. The 1050LM consumes 12W, equivalent to a 110W halogen bulb, saving up to 90% on energy bills.
Cons
  • Expensive
