💡 Amico Ultra Thin Selectable Downlight: Customize your Desired Brightness Review

Our dining room has always been pretty dark and I've finally decided to add more light. Love the fact that these lights were flat, didn't need a spray can and had 5 settings from very warm to very cool light color. Very easy to install, a simple wire connection system came in handy to connect lights together.

I had 6 of these installed by an electrician and 2 of them started flickering as soon as they were installed. They're all on the same circuit, so I can't think of anything to do with the wiring or the switch/dimmer used. I've tried to find a company online that solves this problem directly, but I can't find any contact information. Buyer Warning!

How to create recessed lighting. Looks great! Attention: The templates are too big! We cut the holes exactly to the size of the template and there is too much space around the light. From our attic you could see the floor from the direction of the light and we had to putty all around to seal it properly. Attention, cut out smaller than the template! Apart from that we love them.

I loved the bulbs but couldn't find the contact information to notify the company of a bulb failure. There are no phone numbers, email addresses or websites. I was able to get Revain to contact the seller and they immediately contacted me to resolve the issue. They sent me a brand new light and box within a week of my reply. I only gave them 4 because it was difficult to contact the seller.

There was a major disaster at my house (brother left the hot tub upstairs and fell asleep causing the house to flood for 7 hours) which resulted in the house renovation. This room was ALWAYS very dark, so I figured since I had no ceiling or walls, now was the perfect time to turn on the lights. I bought these lights hoping they would look and work the same as any cannon light and I'm even more impressed than I thought. They are very bright but the color is adjustable. I have them in the middle.

Update (April 23, 2021): Downgraded from three stars to one star. While these lights do give light, they are only good when there are no sensitive radio equipment (e.g. ham radio) nearby. These flashlights emit RFI at least 2 meters away and there doesn't seem to be a way to ask the company for help. Since I was unable to resolve my issues with these headlights, I did not find myself in a situation where I had to remove the headlights and replace them with something that meets FCC emissions…

Everything works great now! Super bright and has been working for a few weeks now after replacing the switch and lights - no more problems! My fiance and I love how they brightened up our living room. Update: Problem: I tried them on two different dimmer switches and encountered the same problem.
