I've been looking for the right travel mug for years and then found this one. They're just the right size — they fit perfectly in my car's cup holders, and 20 ounces of coffee at a time is my limit. When full or almost full, it keeps coffee/tea hot for 8 hours and stays hot for another 4 hours, as well as cold drinks. Sometimes I prepare 2 cups, one for the trip and one for a later day. I confidently pack a spare tire in my bag because I know it won't leak. These cups are easy to clean (I've never managed to get all that accumulated crap out of the drinking hole with another brand's cup mechanism), durable, and secure (with the lid down and locked in place, there's no spilling, even when the mug is knocked off the table). I just got a new pair because one of my 4 year old pairs was damaged by a large dog using it as a chew toy. The top edge was crumpled, the cap was rough around the edges, the lid was bitten off. Even then the cup could be used; the lid unscrewed and closed, and my coffee stayed hot. These mugs are made to last. From an aesthetic point of view, they are beautiful. The small cone is elegant and concise. The colors are rich and persistent. The girth is comfortable to hold, and the fine texture of the body is non-slip and easy to grip.
