This fork works great for the money. It's good value, not cheap, and the air spring/compression damping is some of the best I've ridden. It lacks rebound damping adjustment, but the default setting is perfectly usable. However, the warning label (not for downhill or freeride) doesn't inspire confidence, and the crown isn't very stiff, adding to the fear. The crown is designed for a tapered stem but has a pressed-in adapter into which a straight stem is pressed. There aren't many options for good straight tube forks these days, so this fork fills those needs, but I'd like to see a custom 1 1/8 straight tube crown and maybe a sticker that says "Designed for Rough Terrain Only". . . .
