Review on 💨 Boost Power & Performance with K&N Cold Air Intake Kit for 2011-2019 Dodge/Chrysler (Charger, Challenger, 300) 6.4L V8,63-1565 by John Clarey

Firstly I have been a big buyer of K&N and CAI filters for the past 20 years. I have them on all of our cars so I bought one for our 2015 SRT Challenger. The tube and bracket assembly does not fit properly. The IAT does not fit the hub. So I went ahead and bought a few different sized grommets to go with it. I put it on and took a test drive. The car was on average 0.3 seconds slower from 0 to 60 and 26 hp. less (if you can believe the onboard torque and horsepower sensors). So after 10 minutes I re-enabled the default setting and tested again. I have returned my 0-60 times and HP. Even with the position of the pants I have the feeling that the car seems to be even slower with it. I contacted K&N and explained this to them to get their reply. They didn't even have the decency to contact me to take a walk, tell me I was wrong or anything. This confirms my results. So that's the last time I buy K&N. If they had contacted me, explained. Big. I would still buy it. There are other companies that are just as good as them. This is a waste of money for the 2015 Hemi SRT 6.4. The factory setting works very well. I have videos on YouTube of dyno results on our 2010 RT Challenger, our 2005 RT Magnum that really showed performance gains with their CAI kits that I ran before and after. I install their filters on my 3 old muscle cars, 2 trucks and a hayabusa so there's no way I would smack them if I felt like it wasn't legal. Update: K&N contacted me and offered a full refund. So at least I'm happy about that. I'm hoping to fix installation issues and power outages instead of getting a refund. It won't change my star rating but it will keep me as a customer. Other people seem to have had better luck in other SRT years.
