Review on Sceptre 32-inch Smart LED HD TV with Google Assistant, Chromecast, Bluetooth Remote - Machine Black 2020 (A322BV-SRC) by George Woods

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Wi-Fi 5 Ghz does not work, the remote control is not bluetooth.

Disappointed. Nowhere in the description does it say that this TV only works with 2.4GHz WiFi. I live in an apartment building and have about 10 neighbors on each of the 2.4GHz channels. Was this TV designed in 1990? Do you use additional details? If the remote uses Bluetooth, it wouldn't need to be pointing directly at the bottom of the screen to work. It would also not be necessary to have an IR LED. What's the point of lying? Marketing to idiots who think their socks should have bluetooth? I haven't decided yet whether to return this item. I already have enough TVs (all connected to 5GHz WiFi). This was my first Android TV paired with my new phone. And THAT is wrong too. I wanted to hang this on the kitchen wall but not when it needs to be connected to everything.

Pros
  • Google Assistant Whether you need step-by-step instructions during the setup process or need to step in from time to time to find out what feature you have, the Google Assistant is always there for you. Just say "OK Google". Or press the microphone button on the remote and Google Assistant will answer your questions and quickly guide you through functions
