I have long/thick/slightly matted hair, so I've always found it difficult to clean my comb. When I found this product I was excited as it seems to be the perfect solution to my problem. However, the product doesn't work well because it's cheap: 1) it's all hard plastic so it feels very hard and uncomfortable when brushing and pulls my hair a lot; 2) When you pull the handle, it does not feel smooth. I had to use some force to pull it out; 3) Because the tip of the brush doesn't retract, the hair still gets tangled underneath, making brushing just a little easier than using a regular brush, but still a little tricky. I gave it three stars because I think the idea behind the product is great, but hopefully the maker of the product can put more into it and make improvements to make it a really working brush.
