Helps with chain slap on carbon tips
I am currently using an old Cannondale scalpel and chain slap on carbon tips tends to be noisy. Back then, they didn't seem to add protection like many do today. It was an easy fix and it worked pretty well in calming the bike down a bit and also protecting the carbon fiber chainstay from all the abuse. I hang the second on my wife's sweater and keep the third in case something happens to my bike.
