Weak sound: home audio

My Denon m38 boombox-level amp blows Audiolab out of the water. Rated at 6 ohms, this little Denon box drives the Dynaudio Emit10 like a dream. Almost immediately returned the amplifiers Audiolab, NAD, Yamaha. (The NAD CD player has been retained, which greatly improves the overall sound.) I have to admit, I wanted to like this beautiful Audiolab box. I would buy one, gut it and put a Denon in it for both tonal and aesthetic value.
