Installed on a 2018 JL
I ordered a plug and play spare wheel light. The installation went smoothly with a few problems. I suspect the updated model added a sheath around the positive and negative wires. This resulted in the wire being too thick to easily run into the standard third brake light bracket. I removed some and it got better. Also, for a simple "plug and play" the connector was too big to properly close the third brake light housing, so I ended up cutting it and soldering the wires together to make more room in the housing. All in all, given the cost, can't complain and it looks pretty decent.
