This is my first time owning a puppy and I have been told it would be best if my golden puppy went through his first heat. Being an overly obsessive dog mom, I decided to just wait until my little girl was a female before spaying her. The big surprise is that puppies in heat are a real nightmare! The disposable diapers from the pet store were awful and she looked very depressed in them / they barely lasted more than 30 minutes. Thank you for these diapers! I wouldn't have survived her 3+ week heat if it wasn't for those diapers (no exaggeration). If you're on the fence - just buy them! It's a really comfy stretchy material, they fit perfectly and stay on even when she tries to take them off. They protected against leaks so well that she even continued to sleep with me in my bed on my white duvet (risk? Yes, but I like living on the edge folks). Friends would even say she acts totally normal in them, and by the end of the heatwave I was calling them her "shorts" because the hot pink and purple made them so cheeky. Anyways, I never thought I would get so excited about dog diapers but come on they totally saved me and I can't keep it to myself!
