Review on πŸ–±οΈ Logitech G305 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse - Hero 12K Sensor, 12,000 DPI, Lightweight, 6 Programmable Buttons, 250h Battery Life, On-Board Memory - Blue (PC/Mac) by Aaron Parish

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Upgraded from G-Pro, 203,102 etc and my current favorite mouse.

As another G Pro user, I am very happy with this mouse and will use it as a starting point for this review. Gram weight from G-Pro, I don't need those AAA - AA converters) I have absolutely no rattling and the keys feel great. There is no RGB on this mouse, which is fine with me. The legs are slightly thinner and longer than the G-Pro, and there's an additional small rounded leg at the bottom, too. I think having your hand on the mouse helps a bit with weight distribution. The left/right click feels like it has a little more range of motion than the G-Pro, but is very responsive and consistent overall. The thumb buttons have MUCH less resistance and are very light and also feel a bit more chiseled than the G-Pro. I also noticed that the bottom thumb switch is somehow better angled to press with the middle thumb. The scroll wheel sits lower in the mouse and scrolls more clickily than the G-Pro, but will likely smooth out a bit over time. I've seen some reports of it being hard to press - mine isn't, it's even easier than my well-worn G-Pro and feels much nicer overall. The DPI button feels just like the G-Pro, just a little smaller. The new Hero sensor is perfect. I can't find a single downside, and while it can be extremely difficult to tell a difference between the PMW3366 and the Hero (especially when it comes to wired and wireless connections), I definitely agree with the claim that it's better. I can't talk about battery life as I don't have 250 hours of battery life to tell you whether or not these stats are true, but I'll edit them later if there's anything to complain about. There's not much to say about the software either - it works. If you're familiar with Logitech software, it's about the same for everyone. If you like the shape of this mouse (G-Pro, 203/102, regular Ambi small mice) you will be happy with the upgrade. on that - and yes, in my opinion, this is an update. TLDR: good mouse. good sensor 5/5
