High quality lighter. It came partially charged so I tried it right away and it worked great. During charging, the blue light dots on the side of the lighter will light up in sequence until all are lit, then turn off when the lighter is fully charged. If you are using a lighter, the number of glowing blue dots when you open the lid will indicate the remaining charge in the lighter. One review noted that you can't put the lighter down, but I always put my lighters on their side when not in use, so I don't see that as a disadvantage. Overall I would recommend this lighter as it is a quality product. I use it to light cigarettes but I think it will be just as effective for lighting joints.
