As another buyer mentioned I also had a problem with cheap cables. For a month and only three starts of the ramp, the left headlight stopped working. I traced it to the cord that connected to the lamp. Although shrink wrap was used, salt water got in and the joint turned to dust. I fixed it and after the next boat trip the same problem appeared on the right side. Almost impossible to reconnect because it's the thinnest and cheapest wire I've seen and impossible to strip. Luckily I kept the old wiring harness from the previous trailer and was able to reconnect the lights. It only lasted two hours. I do not recommend this kit for a saltwater boat.
