This is a fun toy but any serious cyclist should look elsewhere for a light source. Solid red is good, but it doesn't grab drivers' attention like a flashing red light. Alternating red and blue indicates law enforcement is wrong and stupid. Full blue or green are not good as they are difficult to see and do not represent a cyclist or vehicle. The other alternating colors are cute distractions best suited to a kid's bike when safety isn't a concern. If they offered flashing red I would give five stars. As of now it's a fun smart toy and I put it on my kid's bike so it has a fun light on the bike when she rides with me.
