Jeep Laredo 2006 3.7L

A year ago at Amazon only ordered a used car for 6 months when the engine light came on again. Says the same code, either purge or gas cap. Now I'm looking again for a purge from a luggage rack and it says it doesn't fit my car which is strange because it's the same part as mine so they sold me the wrong part not knowing what I need now am angry
