Review on 🔪 Hammer Stahl 3.5-Inch Paring Knife: German High Carbon Steel, Ergonomic Quad-Tang Pakkawood Handle, Ideal for Precise Vegetable and Fruit Cutting by Cara Dudas

My paring knife was over 40 years old, part of the Cutco set we received as a wedding gift. I expected this to last forever. Forever too soon came part of an accident involving a garbage chute, a chisel and a 15-year-old "assistant". The gap ended and I almost cried. We are subject to social insurance and need a replacement Cutco from our range. Hammer steel is not cheap, but it comes at a moderate price. I was surprised when it arrived, packaged so well. The biggest surprise was how it felt in my hand. It could have been made for my hand OR my husband's much larger hand. The real test came when I peeled a thin-skinned Macintosh apple. A nice thin curl from each of half a dozen apples. I like the new knife. Thank you HammerStahl.
