Cons: My beard is long enough to use a metal comb and even if they sold this thing in gallon buckets it wouldn't be enough Pros: Everything else , literally . I spent $25 plus shipping on Oud Oil Balm; Spent another $20 on this kit. Both arrived the same day and I immediately showered and used the $25 items. Not to say I didn't like it, but the next day I used every Bossman product I could get (complete with killer scent) and didn't stop. The quality of my Bossman is superb and works better than expected, especially when you combine each product (be it jelly or balm, and yes both can be used together in moderation). The comb is heavy metal and feels like fine sandpaper. I think if you have Bossman's jelly oil, balm or oil on your hands you can still hold them. Don't get me wrong, the texture isn't rough, it's just not polished to a smooth finish. The leather holster is of fairly good quality and comes in handy when grooming your beard in public. Mustache 'Mudstache' has a very low odor and creates an odd combination of hold and softness in my mustache. After trying it I felt motivated to stop trimming and start working on a great Viking caliber soup strainer that will be great soon. After those two things, let's move on to the products that we have bought or will buy. buy this kit. Beard Conditioner - You never seem to use enough, but a little goes a long way. I've found that squeezing out the water as much as possible before applying the conditioner helps focus it on the beard. I'm definitely exaggerating, but I think this conditioner is 99% oils and 1% suspensions because what it can do to facial hair is amazing to me. From the first use I noticed my beard looks and feels better than ever right out of the shower. After brushing and drying I was won over by this product. Beard Balm - Not much to say here. Is applied like any other balm and spreads in the same way. On my second use of the day (when the conditioner wasn't used fresh) I noticed that my style is still manageable, my beard is a bit softer and loose hairs are in a line. Beard Jelly - Holy Slime of the Gods! That's a legend in my life. If Bossman made it in gallon jars I'd be first in line to get it! Definitely lasts longer than the oil or balm I've tried so far. Heed this one warning. a little goes forever. "A little goes a long way" is a massive understatement. Out of all the products, this jelly has the strongest flavor in my opinion. The last element in this set that is different from all other Bossman sets is the scent. I bought Hammer and it's the second best scent I've ever smelled, right after my favorite perfume. It's hard for me to describe the composition of the Hammers fragrance, but I will say that I don't think anyone will like it. I see rich mahogany and earthy spices mixed by some Adonis while gorgeous women feed him Caesar-style grapes.
