This cable is complete junk. I take product photos and use this cable to tether my Nikon to my MacBook Pro so I can preview the shots in Lightroom to check focus etc. I got through one shoot with no problems, and on the second it completely died. Fire. who was on the spot. This works when the camera is completely stationary on a tripod, but the moment you lift it to change the angle, it stops working. It is not possible to shoot handheld with this cable as it does not fit the camera well.
