If you want to see how I installed this unit on my converted bus that becomes a campervan watch my video. Overall I found the installation fairly easy and was able to complete it in half a day. Please note that installation should be easier if you are just buying this to replace your existing AC unit as you simply unplug the old unit, connect the wires and install the new unit in place. The only downside I have with this device has to do with the control unit, which is sold separately. First off, I find this control box plasticky and fragile. Also, I was upset to learn that the control box does not come with this AC box as it has NO CONTROL! In my opinion, this is too expensive, since this device itself has no controls. Overall, this is a great rooftop air conditioner. In terms of cooling capacity, I have a large 40ft bus/RV. In most large RVs I've seen people run two or even three of these devices. So it doesn't have a maximum cooling capacity or anything like that. But it blows cold and hasn't blown my circuits, so I'm happy with that. One final note, this baby runs on 110 AC, so plugging into a standard outlet will give you the power. It's not a low-power 12-volt box or anything like that.
