I've worked with a few brakes where someone has either used the wrong lubricant or ignored broken pads and the end result has usually been a stuck caliper bolt. Sometimes removing them is very painful and I usually break my ankles to free myself. The bolt is also often damaged. I've seen videos on youtube where people used everything from cold chisels to screwdrivers to loosen the pins and some people broke the torch and vise to get them out. This is the right tool for the job. This set comes in two versions, one that you attach to your air hammer and another that you can use with a regular hammer to pull out pins with little or no damage. Aside from the application of force, the two pullers are nearly identical, and the forked end is designed to fit neatly around pins of different sizes. The hammer version has a knurled handle for easy control of the pin puller. The tools are very durable, with clean welds and a durable finish. With proper care, the kit will last for many years without problems.
