This large bag offers plenty of storage space. We got this for our 11 year old. The space for the phone easily fits my 6 inch phone with a case. The touchscreen was responsive, but the phone quickly got warm inside. We wanted to use it to hunt Pokemon on the rides, but we couldn't get the phone to work for long. it passed out from overheating. The side pockets protruded a bit which made it a bit difficult for him to velcro his phone up. He easily carried a standard water bottle in his side pocket and had little left. The open center also made it big for each of our bikes and it switched to the heavier side as we rode, so we decided to cut the pool noodle to wrap around the top bar to hold the bag in place better keep. We ended up going with a different design as it was just too big for his needs at the moment.
