When it comes to salad tongs they definitely get the job done and are affordable. Unfortunately, after a few years of loving use, I accidentally broke my last pair. I embarked on an adventure to find stronger tongs (salad persuasion) but couldn't find any in grocery stores and was intimidated by online reviews of metal tongs (those torture devices look downright awkward). So there we are again, my trusty old salad tongs. For the price, I think it's only fair to loosen them up a bit and eat up the replacement cost when their time comes.
