I bought two of these not expecting them to last forever but hoping to use them for simple salads and al fresco meals. If they break it's okay, I don't have much money. We use them several times a week and even clean them in the top rack of the dishwasher. For a basic plastic, I'm very impressed with how well they've held up so far.

These affordable pliers get the job done effectively and have held up in perfect condition for many months. I like clear, shiny plastic; They're easy to clean and easy to spot when they're not clean, and they complement any salad bowl or table setting. The ability to use them individually or together makes them more versatile than some expensive brands. Five stars.

We bought them twice. The last pair lasted two years when one of the pins broke. This pair had lasted about thirty days of (perhaps) weekly use when I heard a pop. I looked to the point. It had hairline cracks. They are not one piece like they should be (two pieces). They each consist of several cast parts and are connected by thermal bonding.

Clear plastic of good quality and good thickness. Not flimsy and brittle like some others I've had. It has a pleasant "soft" touch finish that is durable over time and also contributes to smooth operation. These scissor-operated salad tongs disassemble for easy cleaning. The hub (pin) that the 2 parts attach to is strong and the parts run smoothly. Great price and fast shipping too!
