The metal frame keeps the cards securely in place. The elastic band is strong enough so I don't have to worry about the cards falling out. It also looks pretty neat. The optional sew-on till tape can be useful, but isn't really needed in our increasingly cashless world. If you have a traditional wallet, it's difficult to get rid of all that storage space, but the front pocket design is much more practical. I like it more than my other minimalist wallets. Highly recommended.
