Review on Enhanced Ozeri Graviti Pro Electric Pepper Mill and Grinder by Raffy Baer

Bought this grinder after reading many reviews. Some background - previously had an electric Peugeot which worked great but was expensive (100+ about 8 years ago) and didn't want to pay that much again when it broke down a few years later. I took a risk and replaced Peugeout with Miu. To my surprise, it worked the same as the previous grinder! My complaint at the time was that the batteries ran out very quickly; solved it by making it rechargeable. The Miu lasted about as long as the Peugeot, at a price three times cheaper. In the end, the plastic piece connecting the inside broke. Decided to buy the ozeri as it stands upright so the peppers don't hit the shelves and liked the lid idea. The first arrived DOA. I called the company - they were very accommodating, helped me troubleshoot to see if it could be fixed (failed) and replaced it quickly. (That's the good part). The bad part is the performance - very sluggish when sanding (unlike the Peugeout and Miu) and the lid is a royal pain to get on and off. I'm still working (6 months have passed) but I'm thinking about gritting my teeth and ordering Miu again! I'm amazed that so many others actually like this grinder. what am i missing don't think it's defective as it grinds very slowly and seems to work when grinding unlike the others.
