Review on Super Parts - Ultimate Replacement for Briggs 🛠️ and Stratton Fuel Tank and Carburetor 494406, 498809, and 498809A by Kevin Baker

Although this replacement carburetor/gas tank looks identical to the original Briggs and Stratton version, the resemblance ends there. When it was hooked up to a lawnmower it kinda worked and I attached the old carburetor to the new gas tank part to make it work. As with other reviewers, I had to re-drill one of the gas tank mounts to attach the new gas tank to the mower. The price is tempting, but the reality is that this is too critical a part to rely on an offshore copy of the manufacturer's original part. The gas cap was cracked indicating that the seller checked the item carefully before shipping, but I was able to reuse the original gas cap instead of messing around with returns.
