return, not 3/8" (0.375") but 5/16" (312"); waste of time. The tube inlet OD is 0.301 inch and the barb diameter is 0.339 inch. The filter is falling out of the 3/8 inch (0.370 inch) diameter OMC fuel line on my outboard.
