These shoes are a great design and my 4 year old loves them. We have the black ones and they are badly worn on the toes so I bought some more gold ones. The gold is disappointingly matte/matte, but they're still cute. Black lacquer and very cute. Her feet are quite big and the strap fits very well. So if you have a child with a small foot, the strap might be too loose as it is not adjustable. Shoes are completely destroyed. I would stick with the patent/shine versions of this shoe for life.
