Some jobs you need a bit of muscle but not a huge amount. I'd been eyeing a Milwalke 90deg impact driver for some time but the cost seemed a bit steep by the time you purchased the tool, battery(ies), and a charger.I figured for how low the cost was to buy this 3/8" driver, it would serve its purpose for servicing the brakes on our vehicles. And it has been terrific for a small effort, bolt, and nut loosening in tight spaces. I'll use it in conjunction with a deep well socket; put the socket on the bolt and use the driver without the trigger power, like it's socket wrench to break loose the bolt and then use the power of the driver to finish removing the bolt/nuts. The tool doesn't have enough torque to break loose the caliper slide pins on a car but as I just said, use it without power to break loose the bolt, then remove the bolt with the power of the tool.As always, use the proper torque specifications for all vehicle hardware, not just rely on the impact driver to finish the bolt attachment and that's it.Battery life has been excellent and I'm still on my first charge for the first battery pack. Make sure you don't let your anxiety of having a battery die on you cause you to throw the battery back on the charger after every single use unless the battery is truly dead. Li-po batteries can last a long time if you cycle them correctly.Overall, super happy with the quality and performance of this tool.
