I finally got a chance to use this cordless ratchet and put it to the test for an automotive job (replacing rear brake rotors and pads). As many people have said - you cannot use this for breaking lose any tight bolts (ie like wheel lugs). You can use this for bolts already loosened. I started to return this product after finally using it on my lawn mowers. Why? It could NOT get off my mower blades — in particular one that has been stuck for some time. I had to get my other set of tools and manually free the bolts. So why the high rating?I realized that this product is not some super device that is advertised to remove stuck bolts. The battery life isn't the best, but it comes with 2, which makes up for it. Construction feels a bit cheap, but it's held up so far. Haven't used it a whole lot, but I'll update if things change. So far, so good though.

I bought this for car repair but the tool isn't strong enough to break free most of what I needed it for. Once the bolt out but is free, it does a good job of quickly removing then.Also, unlike other brands I've seen used, I'm not able to use the tool as a manual wrench to break the nuts free since the bit doesn't lock into the stationary position when not in use.This all is why I believe it would be good use for craft or small equipment usage due to low torque delivery.

Very handy tool to have and saved me a lot of time at first, but then the batteries died and now I have to decide whether to replace the batteries or replace the tool and batteries. I emailed the company and waiting to see if I hear back from them. Will update this review if the company takes any positive action.

I've used this for a few jobs ranging from oil filter changes to brake pads and it was doing ok. Just like with most you'd have to brake loose the bolt before using this tool but within the same month I bought it, it snaps on me and the drill head won't spin. this is for non-heavy-duty work. Oh also I didnt have to charge it that month at all if that tells you anything.

Batteries are expensive, sometimes more than the tool you're buying them for. I used the tool twice and so far no issues. Did its job, saved me a lot of time and has plenty of power for what I normally use a 3/8 ratchet for.

I haven’t tested it yet but once I opened it, I saw that it is used and not new. It also doesn’t look durable and I’m assuming it only does light work. If you do a lot of work that u need a ratchet wrench, I would invest in a heavy duty one from DeWalt or other good brands.

I have used it several times and it works great when you have a bunch of bolts or nuts to remove and then put back. Saves a lot of wrist ratchet time. The wrench seems well made but it gets warm after running for a few minutes straight. My only complaint so far is that one of the batteries had died. I have found third party batteries that should fit but they are about half the price I paid for this whole ratchet set. Not good.

Some jobs you need a bit of muscle but not a huge amount. This made my job 80% faster. Durable long-lasting I think it will be. Time will tell. Torque is only 15 lb at best. It will not break loose a tight bolt. They use it personally as a ratchet to break loose and then spend it off. It can and it will while tightening a bolt snap it off so use common sense.

Can be used as a normal ratchet to loosen or tighten bolts, saves a lot of time in between the breaking loose, and making tight.

*-*I needed a cordless ratchet for work, just to do quick installs of running boards, taillights, headlights and such. The supplied sockets, 3" extension, 2 batteries and 3/8" to 1/4" adapter all come in handy. This unit does the same job as the high dollar units just at a less expensive price. If you are a full time mechanic I don't know how this unit will hold up for you but if you are a DIY'er this is a good tool to have.*-*

So I've owned this for over a year and every time I pull it out to use it, I'm really glad that I purchased it. What wouldn't you like? It has two batteries, so while I'm using it, the other one can be charging. However, I typically never need to grab the extra battery since it holds a charge for so long. I only used it once but I thought it would have a little more power than it does. It's good for getting the bolts down but I would put a wrench on it to make sure it is tight.

I purchased this tool for my son-in-law for Christmas. My grandson, who is a mechanic, highly recommended this product for its performance.
