Review on 🌟 Smartwatch Samsung Galaxy Watch4 with Bluetooth and Monitor Detection by Ojasvi Sharma ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I did not regret the purchase, everything is fine.

This is my first watch, before that I used fitness bracelets from a well-known Chinese manufacturer. In general, a rather interesting and functional device, but with low autonomy and with the absence of a number of familiar functions that are either completely absent or require a fairly significant set of undocumented actions for activation, and for a simple user far from IT, these steps may seem insurmountable. Well, you just need to keep in mind that for normal use of the watch, there must be a Samsung phone, a lot of functionality will not work with other phones. And there is another point: the interface is quite strongly tied to the bezel, which is only on the Classic model, over time you get used to using only the touch screen, but the thought that it would be more convenient with the bezel still visits. All this definitely makes sense to consider when buying.

Pros
  • WearOS is essentially Android, that is, you can put a lot of things, for example, pay with MirPay - yes, please, if, of course, you have enough competencies to install it on your watch. In general, it’s a nice device, it tracks workouts well, turns them on by itself if you forgot to do it manually. I was especially pleased with the indicators in the pool - it counts the number of pools (distances) very clearly, which is convenient when you swim for a kilometer or more. You can answer calls, incoming messages - well, here in general, everything is pretty standard. The display is very high quality, the grain is not visible, there are no problems either in the dark (they do not blind) or in the sun (very contrast). The watch sits comfortably on the wrist, there are no complaints about the materials (again, compared to bracelets from a well-known manufacturer - there were occasional irritations on the arm). Also pleased with wireless charging, incl. From the phone - I use it quite often.
Cons
  • The main disappointment is the battery. You have to pay for functionality with autonomy, especially after basslets, this is noticeable. Ideally, of course, charge like a phone every night, but then there is no way to control sleep. Exit - charging overnight after one, and part of the time in power saving mode. Well, or a permanent energy saving mode, but then why all these bells and whistles if you turn them off? The MIR card via SamsumgPay does not work (although there are no problems on the phone), so dancing with a tambourine is required to start MirPay on the watch. But what is most surprising - such widely advertised functionality as ECG and pressure measurement - stupidly does not work in the 2022. No, this is of course treated, but not by completely legal methods. What prevented Samsung from making this functionality open is unknown. The same trouble with the assistant - Bixby does not work in the 2022, it has not yet been possible to put Google Assistant instead of it, so voice interaction with the clock as on the apple counterpart will not work. It's the little things like this that make me really sad :(
