It's quite well made with quality materials and relatively easy to use. In addition, it is relatively easy to clean and is roughly equivalent to a 1/2 gallon milk container. What I do is coarsely ground coffee beans at the store, and then when I get home I use a metal strainer to boil small particles. The coffee grinder in the supermarket produces a lot of small grinds, so I will probably use a manual coffee grinder. After brewing cold coffee, a lot of fine grinds remain in the coffee pot (which is arguably typical of all cold brew coffee makers). So I use a paper filter to get rid of debris. After that, the coffee is ready to drink and almost entirely non-bitter; just really mild and not sour coffee taste. I buy organic cinnamon flavored sprout coffee that is not too strong. Then I'll try the stronger coffee and see how it tastes. Update: Downvoted because it's a mess. Now I use disposable filter bags and am very happy with them.
