These bulbs are definitely expensive but if you can't find the right Kelvin (cold or warm) or look. However, other lamps of this size on the market are also expensive, so everything is relative. The light is warm white, perfect for what I was looking for. 2700k with filament/Edison optics. There aren't many 2700k warm white frosted Edison bulbs on the market (most are clear). I was hoping to eliminate the glare as they are almost at eye level along the stairs. It's not 100% Edison filament style as I can see it's a spiral LED in a frosted bulb (but it's opaque enough to keep it interesting). So far I really like how they look, both off and on.
