Very good quality speaker cable. I've used a variety of speaker cables over the years, from fairly long to versatile, and Blue Jean's speaker cables are fantastic. I really like the fastening banana plugs on them to keep them tight and firmly connected. I have Emotiva XPA mono blocks where the positive and negative terminals are a foot apart. I had to modify the speaker wire a bit by lifting the jacket at the end of the wire (more like a pair of pants) and then carefully trimming the jacket around the two wires about seven inches. Part of "trousers" tumbled straight onto the main cable sheath and everything was ready. These cables are not mindless neutral cables, so they don't act as tone controls to alter the tone of my speakers. I know all the psychoacoustic effects that audiophiles experience when they claim that adding a specific cable, power cord, or connection cable will improve the sound of their setup. But the Blue Jean speaker wire really made a difference to the regular 16 gauge speaker wire I used. Is it because the blue jeans are a size 10 or are they cold welded?
