My iPod dipped in the river. . .in my husband's pocket. When I carefully took it out of his pocket on the way to the hospital because he broke a rib, it wouldn't start. No, she got wet, all my pictures go there. We were out of town so the next day (because my husband was in the ER all night) I bought rice and put my iPod in for 2 days while we carefully packed and carefully drove home and I waited for that it arrived . I didn't risk it, so when the iPod arrived I put it in a small dish container, covered it with silica gel and left the container covered for another week. On the 8th day I slowly took it out of the container lined with silica gel bags and plugged it into the mains. He charged and started working! woo hoo! iPod saved. . .now only 6 weeks until my husband gets better :) PS- Silica bags can be baked low and dried again to save another iPod another day!
